This degree title qualifies for the development of a job as Technical Engineer in Telecommunications, in accordance with the requirements established by Law CIN/352/2009 of February 9th, providing competence for the following professional profiles:
- Management of projects in Telecommunications Engineering.
- Designing of common infrastructure projects of telecommunications in buildings.
- Design and certifying of infrastructures of Digital Home and Intelligent Areas.
- Design and construction of the subsystems that integrate communication systems, such as radio-frequency subsystems and circuits, microwave subsystems and circuits, antennae, signal digital processing systems.
- Design, planning, developing and maintenance of radio links and satellite communication systems.
- Design, planning, developing and maintenance of mobile communication systems.
- Design, planning, developing and maintenance of wire communication systems and optical fibre.
- Design, planning, developing and maintenance of transmission and reception of radio diffusion and TV systems.
- Applying methodologies appropriate for the design, planning, development and maintenance of communication systems and subsystems.
- Getting to know the legal, economical, and organisational frame that regulates the activity of design, planning, developing, and maintenance of all communication equipments and systems.
