This degree title qualifies for the development of a job as Technical Engineer in Telecommunications, in accordance with the requirements established by Law CIN/352/2009 of February 9th, providing competence for the following professional profiles:

• Management of projects in Telecommunications Engineering.
• Designing of common infrastructure projects of telecommunications in buildings.
• Design and certifying of infrastructures of Digital Home and Intelligent Areas.
• Planning, display, maintenance, management, operating, integrating of technologies, etc. for the rendering of telematic services (both voice and data services) for different applications.
• Supervision, participation and technical assistance for developers and suppliers of telecommunication equipment and systems.
• Auditing and design of nets.
• Safety diagnose and auditing.
• Planning, installing and configuring of nets, services, and Digital Home applications and Intelligent Areas.
• Developing of telematic applications and Communications Software.
• Specification, design and implementation of protocols with Quality of Service to support mass media communication services.
• Design and implementation of safety systems and tools both for the storing and transmitting of information, as well as security in access to nets and systems.
